This is a short-planned trip I've ever made through my personal-travelling life.
After received a phone call from a good friend from elementary school asking if I am interested in joining him a trip to Japan during the Songkran (Thai New Year) festival. I definatelly say YES!
The ticket was bought on March 23, 2006, only two weeks perior of the Songkran.
I spent my day-one on board, United Airline bound for Tokyo and then on the Narita Express to Yokohama. After arrived to Yokohama Station, we suddenly jumped into a local train to our hostel near by the Yokohama Port.
One great time I have met every time I made a visit to Japan is the endless friendship from my JPY friends. It is really hard to believe that good relationship can be made through a month on board the ship Nippon Maru!

Welcome dinner with JPY friends: Dan, Yoko, J-Neil, Ne-san, and Kumi
The real trip begins on the following day in Kamakura, the sea-side city with the Dai-Butsu (big Buddha). This is a nice unique city, which I will never get bored of making a re-visit.
Kamakura's Dai Butsu
The way to Dai Butsu is quite far from the train station, and of course from the beach...this shows me how strong the nature was/is...as it is listed on the history that the temple was destroyed by the Tsunami hundred of years ago. The only remaining item is...this image of Buddha.
I spent my day three and four in a super nice hotel of Hakone. The hostel is a truely international community where travellers can share their stories and travel ideas.

Mt.Fuji, Hakone
