If one asked how many time I have been to Japan...I'll definitely say...uncountable.
I defined myself as a J-lover; starting from Japanese food, film, language and of course, people! For the first time I went to Japan was back into September 2001 as a participating youth to the 28th Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Programme, in which was remarked the best moments in my life!
Through the programme, I happened to meet an endless friendship, brotherhood and a very unforgettable warm welcome from my (new) Japanese foster family in Yamanashi.
It is hard to believed....the friendship I've received from these people is even pure than ones I've met here in Thailand...
I started to learn Japanese immediately right after the programme, in order to be able to communicate with those friends and my host-father...and it does works.
I sometimes wondering if those 2 months period with the SSEAYP really changed/explored my way of thinking on Asian people or I just have been grew up and opened my mind?
