We went to a merit trip to an unlisted temple in Supanburi provice. The temple doesn't look like a temple we usally see in the pictures; without any golden pagoda, the temple is lonely located in the middle of rice-filed.About 30 members from my dad's high school mate came to join the trip...I can say this can be described as a small reunion of the Demonstration School of Chulalongkorn Uni.
The villagers look very happy. Upon the arrival of our bus, we were warmly welcomed by the live band and dancers along the side of the main road to the temple.
A total of $6,800 was raised/collect and given as the temple/community fund.
Here I have learnt on the differences between Bangkokian/Urbanite and the rural people. And I am truely understood why people who live in up-country villages are peaceful....but well, I still preferred being a Bangkokian though.

The overall trip was okay. It would be so much better and greather if a morning call shall be made later (I was woken up by my brother at 05.30 hours).
