A week during the month of October or November is known as Neil's block out period since 2002. During this period, most of my close friends to receive a rejection of participation of party, dinner as well as other types of activities with a simple excuse; "I've to go to the ship".
I know it is kinda hard to understand why this ship seems to be a very big issue for some group of people.
In contrast, it is also hard for the ex-participants to give such a clear explanation why they have to be very excited every time the Nippon Maru visits Bangkok.
The easiest answer can be; the Nippon Maru was the place where we spent 52 days of our once-in-a-life-time experiences with another 300 participants/representatives around the region.Though, tonight, the other 300 friends of each respective batch are no longer on board.
But the Nippon Maru still be a symbol, where our good and bad times of memories remains.

I miss her and I miss you all. It's true we cant find the words or reasons to explain to others.. While SSEAYP was in PPN a few days back, I was again the MC, taking time out of the hectic work I was in. No reunions for me this year cos this crazy work has sunken me. Glad you had a good time there again this year.
