Last minute offer

Months after the approval of my resignation-letter, I finally received a call from the regional boss asking if I am interested in discussing for the opportunity of transferring to the regional team.

There is nothing to comment on the discussion.....really appreciated.

But WHAT TOOK IT SO LONG?
Was it a year ago that I went through the boss room, explaining that I was interested in joining in the staff exchange programme?

Was it half a year ago that I went through the management room, yelling that this kindergarten group needs lots of input for skill development?

Was it about three months ago that I went through the same room, telling that I was going to leave?

After three and a half years, I think I finally opened my eyes and learnt more on this organisation, especially on the way they threat an employee.
