Ho Chi Minh City :: Saigon

A trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam was a good experience to me.

I now realised that this country is far better than what I have expected (through my perceptions and the news). I can see the reason why this country has been called/described as a dark-horse of Southeast Asia.

Buildings and streets are beautiful and well planned as the ones in Europe.
I was wondering if these beautiful city structures were once been viewed by Giacomo Puccini's, the author of Miss Saigon?

The only few different were the way to maintain these roads and buildings, the people, and the number of motorbikes!

One more surprise happened on the way back home, when I was entering into Star Alliance lounge. I just can't believed myself if I were sitting in the buffet party of a hotel!
International foods and drinks are available....far greater than the one provided by Thai Airways at Suvarnnabhumi Airport!

Everywhere I go, there's motorbike.
Example of selected dish from the lounge.
